A youth riding a bike was burnt alive in a horrific road accident on NH 107 in Khagaria. The condition of the couple is critical. Both have been admitted to the hospital. The incident took place near Sonbarsa Ghat Dungri bridge located in Chautham police station area of the district. It is being told that both the bike riders were passing near Dumri bridge located at Sonbarsa Ghat at around 11:30 pm on Friday night. During this time both the bikes collided with each other. The accident was so severe that two vehicles caught fire due to petrol leakage from the bike tank.
Saved husband and wife from burning alive
After the collision, the bike rider and the couple fell on the road and became unconscious. Here, seeing the flames coming out of the bike, the people nearby reached there. Somehow the husband and wife were saved from being burnt alive. But, the bike rider could not save the young man. Local people say that the young man’s hand got stuck in the bike after the collision. Therefore he could not escape and came under fire. He died due to complete burns. There was panic in the area after the incident. People nearby died. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of local people.

In this matter, Chautham Police Station President Satvart Singh said that the above incident took place near Dumri bridge of the police station area late on Friday night. He told that due to oil leakage in the collision between two bikes, both the bikes caught fire. In which Shankar Sada, son of Kusho Sada, resident of Kathamra located in Chautham police station area, died by burning. Pawan Pandit and his wife Resham Pandit, who were riding on the other bike, got burnt. Who have been sent to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
