In Bihar, an undertrial prisoner escaped by jumping over the jail wall on Tuesday morning after breaching the jail security. The case is related to Bihar Sharif Mandal Jail. The undertrial prisoner had gone to jail in November itself on murder charges.

According to the information, Ranvijay Kumar was lodged in cell number 24 of Bihar Sharif Mandalkara. When the cell opened on Tuesday morning, he defied the security and escaped by climbing the eastern wall of the jail by making a rope using a pot and a bedsheet. However, meanwhile the security personnel present at the tower tried to stop him. But their efforts proved unsuccessful and prisoner Ranvijay easily escaped in front of the jail administration.
Stir from jail superintendent to district administration
When the jail superintendent and the district administration received information about the prisoner’s escape, officials along with the local police reached the spot. Then a rope was recovered from the spot, with the help of which Ranvijay had escaped by jumping over the wall. This incident has created a stir in the district administration. In this case, District Superintendent Prabhat Kumar has lodged an FIR against the absconding prisoner in Deepnagar police station.
Went to jail in YouTuber murder case
Undertrial prisoner Ranvijay Kumar, resident of Katrahi village of Bind police station area, was in jail on charges of murder of YouTuber Haradhan Kumar, resident of Sosandi village of Rahui police station area. Deceased Haradhan Kumar and accused teacher Ranvijay Kumar were having an affair with the same girl. It was in this anger that he committed the heinous crime. The prisoner also used to go to Sosandi village and teach tuition. He also taught the girl and the deceased Haradhan. After a lot of effort, Ranvijay was arrested by the police from Patna, two weeks after the murder.
