Gauri had gone to Hyderabad for an advertisement shoot where she met Hiten Tejwani. Gauri did not like the carefree man at all. During the shoot, Hiten used to make everyone laugh with his bubbly style but Gauri used to read books.
In 2001, they met after several months on the sets of ‘Kutumb’. After seeing the same advertisement, Ekta Kapoor selected Hiten-Gauri as the lead couple in ‘Kutumb’. Hiten-Gauri’s first serial ‘Kutumb’ became a superhit and Hiten-Gauri also became friends on the sets of the same serial.
After ‘Kutumba’, the Hiten-Gauri pair was seen in the serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Hiten-Gauri became popular in the role of Karan-Nandini and later they became the lead couple in that serial. They also received the Star Parivar Award for the best pair for many years.
On 29 April 2004, Hiten and Gauri Pradhan got married according to Marathi and Sindhi customs. Hiten Tejwani belongs to a Sindhi family and Gauri Pradhan belongs to a Marathi family.
On 11 November 2009, Gauri Pradhan gave birth to twins – Nivan (son) and Katya (daughter). Gauri and Hiten’s children are now grown up and everyone is living a happy family life.
Hiten and Gauri often share pictures related to their lifestyle on Instagram. Apart from TV serials, Gauri Pradhan has also done many advertisements.
Gauri Pradhan is now associated with a yoga institute and also takes online classes. Apart from this, she is also very inclined towards spirituality. Gauri is still of a very calm nature but Hiten still has a special importance in her life.
Hiten and Gauri have been married for 20 years. Even after so many years of marriage, they are still together and living life as a happy married couple.
