Bishan Singh Bedi Passes Away: Former Indian captain and spinner Bishan Singh Bedi passed away at the age of 77. The cricket world is completely in mourning due to the demise of the legendary Indian spinner. Bishan Bedi played international cricket for India between 1966 and 1979. Many cricket greats and many people have paid tribute to the demise of the Indian legend.
The list includes some greats including former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. Apart from this, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has also expressed condolence on the demise of the legend. Similarly, everyone expressed grief over the former Indian legend. From Home Minister Amit Shah to many politicians have also expressed grief.

Born on September 25, 1946 in Amritsar, Punjab, Bishan Bedi played 67 Tests and 10 ODIs in his career for India. Bowling in 118 innings of Test, he took 266 wickets at an average of 28.71. Apart from this, he took 7 wickets in his name in ODI.
Bishan Singh Bedi was a very brilliant spinner of his tour. He has taken 5 wicket haul 14 times and 10 wicket haul once in Test cricket. Apart from spin bowling, he has taken command of the Indian team. Between 1976 and 1978, he captained Team India in a total of 22 matches. During his captaincy, he took 106 wickets in bowling.
After retiring from cricket, he kept himself connected with the game and created a new identity for himself as a commentator. Apart from this, he also played the role of coach. In this way he remained associated with cricket in different ways. He played his last international match in September 1979 in the form of a Test against England.
