The bugle of Lok Sabha elections has been sounded in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. BJP has opened its cards on both the seats in the district. BSP has declared its candidate for Agra seat. There is confusion regarding the candidates for both the seats in the SP-Congress alliance. There is discussion going on in BSP also regarding the candidate for Fatehpur Sikri.

BJP is ahead of opposition parties in election preparations. BJP has fielded old faces on both the seats. SP Singh Baghel has got the ticket for the second time from the seat reserved for scheduled category. BJP has made Rajkumar Chahar its candidate for the second time in Fatehpur Sikri.

Before the SP-Congress alliance, there was speculation that Rajbabbar would contest from Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri seat has gone to Congress in the alliance. Whereas SP will field candidate from Agra seat. The situation regarding the candidates on both the seats is not clear.

At the same time, BSP has made Pooja Amrohi its candidate from Agra seat. No candidate has been declared for Fatehpur Sikri seat. After the election bugle sounds, it is believed that the alliance can announce its candidates in two to three days.

There is churning going on regarding both the seats in the alliance and Fatehpur Sikri seat in SP. Apart from these, Aam Aadmi Party and other parties can also announce candidates soon. The election campaign of the parties whose candidates have been declared is gaining momentum.
