PTI’s fact check revealed that the thing being viral as Sono’s biscuits was a plastic perfume bottle. Searching through Google Lens revealed many videos. During this time, a video of a news channel also surfaced in which viral news is being told.

That news channel had posted a video related to this news on its official YouTube channel on May 12, 2024. According to the report, Ajay Badgujar, district vice president of BJP from North Central Mumbai, said that he was made to wait for hours at the police station and in anger he called the plastic bottle a gold biscuit.
