Politics On Tirupati Temple: The political battle over the claims and allegations of the use of animal fat in the laddus of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple is increasing. After TDP, now Bharatiya Janata Party leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar has also mentioned this issue. He wrote on the social media platform X, ‘God will never forgive this big betrayal of Hindus.’
Bandi Sanjay Kumar wrote on X, ‘The use of animal fat in laddus is a grave betrayal of the faith of Hindus who worship Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy. We had already raised concerns that the inclusion of people from other communities and atheists as employees and in the TTD board would lead to corruption and disrespect for the faith of Hindus.’
Bandi Sanjay Kumar made this demand
While Bharatiya Janata Party’s strong leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar targeted the previous state government, he also demanded an investigation. He wrote, ‘Our demand is that the current Andhra Pradesh government should immediately investigate this matter so that the truth can come out. Strict action should also be taken against the guilty and responsible people in this case. We urge the government to protect the sanctity of Tirumala.’
What did Jaganmohan Reddy say on the allegations?
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has categorically rejected the claims and allegations of the use of animal fat in the laddus of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Senior YSRCP leader and former TTD President YV Subba Reddy has described Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s statements as politically motivated. YV Subba Reddy said that these statements are malicious and Naidu is trying to gain political advantage from this. Subba Reddy said, ‘Chandrababu Naidu can stoop to any level to gain political advantage.’
