Near Supa turn on Mahoba’s Charkhari-Mahoba road, some miscreants attacked and looted the BJP Yuva Morcha city president who was riding a bike. The injured died in the district hospital during treatment. Deep wounds were found on his head. The accused looted four rings, a chain, two mobiles and cash. On the basis of the complaint, a case of robbery and murder has been registered against unknown miscreants.
Sachin Pathak (26), a resident of Mohalla Ghusyana in the town of Charkhari, was the city president of the BJP Yuva Morcha and the youth general secretary of the Vyapar Mandal. On Monday, he had gone with his friend Mohit to see the Jalvihar fair being held in Mauranipur in the district of Jhansi.
On his return, he left his friend Mohit in Mahoba. He was returning to Charkhari at around 11 pm. Then the incident happened. UP 112 police received information from someone that a young man was lying injured on the roadside near Supa-Charkhari turn.
On receiving the information, PRV personnel brought him to the district hospital where he died during treatment. The family was informed about this. The deceased’s brother Anup Pathak alleged that the condition in which Sachin was found clearly indicates that he was robbed and then murdered.
