What is the story of Blind?
The story of the film begins in Scotland. Police officer Jia Singh (Sonam Kapoor) takes her brother Adrian (Danesh Razvi) to a club because he has exams and is partying. Adrien and Jiya are orphans, who are adopted by Maria (Lilit Dubey). Adrian wants to be a rapper, so he wants to drop out and go back to the club, but Gia handcuffs him to stop him.
Jia and Adrian have a fight in the car for taking the key to the handcuffs and the car has an accident, in which Jia loses her eyes and her younger brother. Due to this, there is darkness in Jiya’s life. Jia, who is facing the shock of her brother’s death, does not even have a job now. One night Jiya goes to meet her mother. While she is coming back from meeting her mother, she comes across a psycho killer (Purab Kohli) posing as a taxi driver.
The killer disguises himself as a taxi driver and makes Jia sit in his car. There is a skirmish on the way and she somehow escapes from the killer’s clutches. Jia somehow reaches the police, but she does not get much benefit. Police officer Prithvi (Vinay Pathak) somehow listens to Jia and starts investigating the matter. But, he does not know how dangerous and clever the killer he is looking for is. After this, this tussle between Jia and Killer becomes personal. Director Shome Makhija has made ‘Blind’, which has good location and screenplay too. Blind filled with suspense and mystery will keep you in the dark till the end. However, the story behind how this psycho killer becomes a psycho killer is not told in this film. In this case it looks a bit flat. Sonam Kapoor has tried something new by stepping out of the comfort zone and is expected to impress the audience with her role. The story of Blind has power, but still falls a little loose.
