Bollywood actor Lalit Kumar, a resident of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is receiving death threats. He is being threatened by reminding him of the Moosewala incident. The terrified actor reached New Agra police station on Sunday and filed a complaint. The mobile numbers are from Mumbai.
Lalit Kumar is a native of Lawyers Colony of New Agra police station area. He has been living in Mumbai for a long time and has been playing roles in Bollywood films, TV serials and web series. He has played a role in the recently released web series ‘Paying Ghost’. He has also done many films with Ashutosh Rana.
Lalit said that the series of threats started in Mumbai about a week ago. The caller would say that he is doing a lot of films. Do you remember the Moosewala incident? You will meet the same fate. After this the call got disconnected. Lalit said that after this calls started coming from different numbers. He stopped picking up the calls.
Now two days ago when he came to his home in Agra, he started getting threatening calls in Agra too. He ignored them at first but now he has taken it seriously. He says that there is someone in Mumbai who is not letting him work.
Now he will do his next shooting in Agra and will not return to Mumbai for now. He reached New Agra police station on Sunday afternoon. Here he provided details of mobile numbers to the inspector. He has filed a complaint against unknown persons. The inspector says that the matter is being investigated.
