Holi parties of those Bollywood celebs were quite famous but now due to some reason or the other that party is no longer held.
From Raj Kapoor to Amitabh Bachchan and Subhash Ghai, Holi parties were seen with great enthusiasm in Mumbai, then what happened that their Holi parties were stopped. Everyone has their own reasons behind this.
Bollywood’s famous Holi party no longer happens
In Bollywood, Holi means full-on fun and pomp. Holi parties have been happening in the industry for years, but the atmosphere which used to exist once upon a time is no longer there. Let us tell you which celebs used to have huge Holi parties and then they stopped.
RK Studio’s Holi Party
Kapoor family is one of the famous families of Bollywood. ‘The Show Man’ Raj Kapoor had an equally great temperament as he made great films. It is said that Raj Kapoor was a very open-hearted person and he used to find happiness in every moment. At an early age, he built his own RK Studio and a grand Holi party was held there every year. All the Bollywood celebs used to attend Holi celebrations and it was Raj Kapoor who added spice to it. Raj Kapoor died in the year 1988 and after that this Holi party was stopped.
Bachchan family’s Holi party
By the 90’s, Amitabh Bachchan also started hosting Holi parties in his house. Almost all the celebrities were invited to this celebration. According to reports, when Amitabh Bachchan started this trend, initially everything was fine but later his films started flopping one after the other. It is said that when Big B consulted an astrologer, he advised him to stop the Holi party and Big B accepted it.
Subhash Ghai’s Holi Party
Famous Bollywood film maker Subhash Ghai also used to hold Holi party at his house. Shahrukh Khan used to participate in this as if it was his own Holi party. Here he used to have a lot of fun with his wife Gauri Khan. Apart from these, many Bollywood celebs used to attend this party. Even today you will find some videos of Subhash Ghai’s Holi party on YouTube. However, this party stopped with time.
Akhtar family’s Holi party
Famous actress Shabana Azmi and writer Javed Akhtar are husband and wife and they used to organize Holi parties at their house. The tradition of Holi party is almost 40 years old in their house, which Shabana Azmi used to throw with her father Kaifi Azmi. After Corona, this phase stopped and now Holi parties of that level are not held in the Akhtar family.
