The team of Economic Offenses Unit has taken major action in the paper leak case of teacher recruitment examination conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission. The team has arrested five people including a girl and four youth from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. All of them were hiding in Ujjain by changing their identities. When the EOU team got information about this, they immediately contacted Madhya Pradesh Police. After this, a raid was conducted with the help of local police and all five were arrested.
Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) DIG Manavjeet Singh Dhillon said that five accused have been arrested in the paper leak case of the third phase teacher recruitment examination. All of them are members of a gang. Transit remand has been obtained to bring them back to Patna.
Will be presented in court on Monday
According to the Economic Offenses Unit, many important evidences have been collected from these five accused and they will be produced in the Patna court on Monday. Let us tell you that
The third phase teacher recruitment examination was conducted on March 15 at 415 centres. Around 3.75 lakh candidates had participated in the examination. After this the matter of paper leak came to light.
EOU sent 266 people to jail
The Economic Offenses Unit submitted a report to the Bihar Public Service Commission. It said that the paper of the third phase teacher recruitment examination was leaked a day before the examination. In the teacher recruitment examination, Solver Gang had taken Rs 10 lakh each for providing question papers and answers to the candidates before the examination. The team of Economic Offenders Unit conducted raids in Hazaribagh and Karbigahiya of Patna and detained 313 people including Kul Solver gang members and candidates. Of these, 266 were jailed. For this, he appeared in the civil court late on Saturday night. Among these 266 candidates, 88 women candidates were also included.
