To make Dibba Roti, wash rice and urad dal and soak them in water for 4-5 hours. After this, mix them together and make a thick solution by adding salt. Now add ¼ tsp baking soda to it and let it ferment for 6 hours. Now add chopped onions, green chillies, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Mix it well. After this, heat oil in a pan and pour 2-3 ladlefuls of batter into it and cover and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Although the use of a shallow frying pan would be better. When golden color appears around the edges, flip it gently and cook for 5 minutes. It can be served with chutney or sambar.
