Idli Chaat Recipe: Idli is very much liked in breakfast. Chaat made from idli is also eaten with relish. Idli chaat can be made and served especially to children in weekends. Ingredients to make Idli Chaat
Rava (semolina) – 1 cup
Curd – 1 cup
Cashew – 8-10
Green chili chopped – 2
Curry leaves – 8-10
Rai – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste

for licking
Onion chopped – 1 tbsp
Tomato chopped – 1 tbsp
Green chutney – 2 tbsp
Curd spiced – 1 cup
Tamarind Chutney – 2 tbsp
Pomegranate seeds – 1 tbsp
Sev – 1/4 cup

Idli Chaat Recipe
If you want to make idli chaat for breakfast for children, then put rava and curd in a utensil and mix both of them well. After this add salt as per taste to this mixture and mix. Now keep it aside for half an hour. Then put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, finely chopped green chilies, curry leaves and fry for a few seconds. After this add cashews and roast them till they turn golden.

Now add the prepared ingredients to the idli batter and mix it well and whisk it by adding a little water and add 1 pinch of baking soda. Now take a pot of idli and grease its mold by applying some oil/ghee. After this pour idli batter in the mold and keep the idli to cook. Idli will be ready in 10-15 minutes. After this, take out the prepared idli in a vessel and keep it.

Now take a pan and put some oil in it and heat it. Add mustard seeds, gram dal, red chili powder, curry leaves and fry them. After this, cut four to five pieces of each idli and put them in the pan and mix them well with the spices. Turn off the gas after cooking properly. Now take a bowl and put idli pieces in it. Put curd on top. Then add green chutney, tamarind chutney, finely chopped onions, tomatoes. Then add curd again. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and sev in the end. Similarly, prepare all the idli chaat and serve.
