Bread Halwa Recipe: The fun of eating halwa is different in the winter season. You must have eaten wheat flour, rava or water chestnut pudding many times, but have you ever tasted bread pudding. If not, then today we are going to tell you an easy recipe to make bread pudding. If bread is left in the house and you are not able to understand its proper use, then you can prepare instant bread pudding. Bread halwa can be made as a dessert after dinner or in the morning for breakfast.
Bread pudding is very easy to make and it is a great food dish to change the taste of the mouth. Bread comes in most of the houses and sometimes when it is left, there is a fear of spoilage, in such a situation, if you want to use it quickly and finish it, then bread pudding can also be a good option.
Ingredients for making bread pudding
Bread slices – 10
Milk – one and a half cup
Cream – 4 tbsp
Dry fruits – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee – 2 tsp
Sugar – 1 cup

Bread Pudding Recipe
To make bread pudding full of taste, first take the bread slices and separate them by cutting their four edges with the help of a knife. Now cut the remaining white part of the bread into pieces. Keep them separately in a bowl. Now put 1 spoon of desi ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot and melts, add chopped dry fruits to it and fry. After roasting the dry fruits for about 1 minute, take them out in a bowl and keep them aside.
Now again put 1 tsp ghee in the pan and when the ghee melts, put the chopped bread pieces in it and roast them. Fry the bread pieces well till their color turns golden. After this, pour milk in the pan and cook the bread pieces by mashing them well with the milk with the help of a big spoon. Now let this mixture cook for 2-3 minutes.

After this add cream and sugar as per taste to the bread halwa and mix it well. Now cook the halwa for 2 more minutes so that the sugar gets mixed well with the halwa. After this, put the pre-fried dry fruits in the halwa and mix well. After cooking the halwa for 1 more minute, turn off the gas. Bread pudding full of taste is ready. Put it in a serving bowl and serve it for breakfast.
