To make Tomato Besan Veg Omelette you will need
Gram flour – 1 cup
Tomato – 1 cut into roundels
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Green chili – 2
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Tomato – 1 grated
Ajwain – half teaspoon
Oil – 1 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
salt – to taste
oil or ghee for frying
Tomato Besan Veg Omelette Recipe
First of all, mix gram flour, onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, grated tomato, celery, red chilli powder, salt as per taste in a big bowl and mix it well. Now add one cup of water and prepare a thick batter. Keep in mind that this solution should not become too thin or too tight so that it does not spread easily on the pan. Cover it well and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Put a pan on the gas and add ghee or oil to it. When the oil becomes hot, pour a ladleful of gram flour batter and spread it well. Don’t keep it too thick. Now put two-three pieces of chopped tomatoes on top of it. Put some ghee all around so that it does not stick to the griddle or pan.
Cover it on low flame and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Now cook on the other side in the same way. Remove the lid and see whether the batter has turned golden brown from both the sides.
