Stuffed Idli Recipe: Same breakfast every day can create boredom in anyone. In such a situation, it is necessary to try something new. Although food lovers try something new every day. In such a situation, it is kept in mind that the breakfast made at home should be healthy as well as tasty. For this, idli is prepared and eaten in most of the houses. But have you ever tried Stuffed Idli? It is tasty to eat and it is a breakfast which can be prepared in very less time. Come let’s know the easy way to make Tasty Stuffed Italy.
Ingredients to make Stuffed Idli
Rava (semolina) – 500 grams
Oil – 2 tbsp
Rai – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 10-12
Urad Dal – 2 tsp
Green chili – 2 (finely chopped)
Curd – 300 grams
Eno – 3/4 tsp
salt – as per taste
to make stuffing
Boiled Potatoes – 2
Finely chopped green chili – 2
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Salt – half a teaspoon
Oil – 2 tsp
Finely chopped spinach – 1 cup
How to make Stuffed Idli
To make stuffed idli, first of all, mix the sifted semolina and whipped curd in a deep bottom vessel with the help of a spoon. After this add some water. However, keep in mind that your solution should remain thick. After this, add some salt to the solution to maintain the taste in idli. Now keep this ready solution covered for 20 minutes. By doing this semolina will puff up a bit to make idli. After this, put oil in a pan and keep it on the gas. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds to it and temper it. Now add curry leaves, urad dal and fry till it turns brown while stirring well. Add green chillies and all the spices on top of it and fry it.

On the other hand, peel and mash the potatoes. Now heat oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds in it. Then add chopped ginger and green chillies to it. And then add spinach and cook till it becomes soft, add a little salt and mix. Now put 3 cups of water in the cooker for heating. Put eno in the mixture made for idli and stir a little and keep it for 5 minutes. This will make idli puffy and spongy. Now apply some oil in the mold for making idli. Pour half of the idli mixture in it with a spoon, after that add the stuffing and then add a little idli batter. This process will continue even further.

After this put the idli mold in the cooker. Remember that the whistle in the lid of the cooker has to be removed. Cook the idli on full flame for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then open the lid. Check whether the idli is cooked or not. Will take it off after it is cooked. Now you can serve this tasty stuffed idli.
