In Mathura, work is being done to evict the victims from the police stations. A 69-year-old retired soldier from the highway police station was told to first get orders from the captain and then file a case. The victim appealed to the SSP. After this his case was registered.

The case pertains to retired Indian Army soldier Sovran Singh, resident of Vikas Nagar, Highway. He told that he lives with his wife in his house. On January 7, around 9:30 in the morning, son Ramkripal was carrying valuables like ancestral jewellery, army documents, bank pass book, PAN card, deed of plots etc., two lakh rupees and on the scooter, in two suitcases. When he and his wife tried to stop him, his sons Azad and Ram Kripal threatened him. If they are not allowed to take the luggage, they will kill both of them. They took away the goods by force.

Reached the police station highway after taking the complaint of the incident. The police there said that they will not write the report until Captain Saheb orders. Appealed to SSP Shailesh Pandey in this matter. Also complained about the attitude of the police station. After this the SSP gave the order, only then the police registered the case.

SP City Dr. Arvind Kumar said that all the police station officers have strict instructions not to return any victim from the police station. Their complaint should be heard and action should be taken after investigation. If this order is being disobeyed somewhere, we will investigate the matter and take action.
