BSNL 4G To Go Live In Next 2 Weeks While 5G By December Said Ashwini Vaishnaw


BSNL 4G and 5G Network : Airtel and Jio are engaged in 5G rollout. At the same time, BSNL had not even started 4G yet, but now the company seems to be gearing up. Union IT and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Wednesday that BSNL has started 4G network at 200 sites. Yes, 4G network has been started at 200 sites only, but Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has also said that testing will be done for three months, if everything goes well then on an average 200 sites will be launched per day.

What update regarding 5G?

Even though, BSNL has started rolling out 4G, but it is still behind Airtel and Jio. To come forward, the company should also focus on 5G. The government has also given an update regarding 5G. The minister said that 4G will be rolled out by November-December. Then later, the 4G network will be upgraded to 5G.

Statement of Union Minister Ashwani Vaishnav

Vaishnav said, “You will be surprised at the speed at which BSNL will deploy. After three months of testing, we will be working on 200 sites a day. This is the average at which we will be moving forward. Will work like this, but later very soon around November-December, with very small software adjustments, it will become 5G.

Vaishnav said, “Today practically every minute a 5G site is being activated. The world is amazed by this. It is a matter of pride for us that the 2,00,000th site has been set up at Chardham.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Started 5G service on 1 October. First 1 lakh 5G sites commissioned within 5 months of service launch. As far as Jio and Airtel are concerned. Both the companies are way ahead of BSNL. Both the companies have covered almost every part of the country with 5G.
