BSNL Live TV App: Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has entered the world of TV. BSNL has launched ‘BSNL Live TV’ application. This app is initially available for Android TVs. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store. However, its other features are not yet known.
According to media reports, this app has been published by WeConnect. BSNL Live TV app is being used to access internet, cable TV and landline telephone services through a single CPE. At the same time, it can be operated through an Android based system. In February this year, BSNL introduced Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service through fiber. Currently its price has been kept very low. Its starting price has been kept at Rs 130 per month. The special thing is that this service works in Android TVs even without a set-top box. Now the services of Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio can get competition from BSNL in the market.
The target is to launch 5G service
Let us tell you that BSNL’s next target is to launch 5G network across the country by the first half of next year. Recently, Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that BSNL has created more than 15,000 4G sites under the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ campaign. The company is ready to convert these sites to 5G soon. Recently, the Department of Telecom (DoT) also shared a picture of a 5G SIM card, after which there were indications of the launch of 5G service soon. At the same time, network problems are also being fixed rapidly at many places.
