BSNL has told the government that it wants to use the 4G network of Vodafone-Idea company to extend its 4G service across the country. BSNL has sought permission from the government for this. Let us tell you that Vodafone-Idea company has the highest share of the government, which is about 33.1 percent. This means that if the government wants, it can use Vodafone-Idea’s 4G network for BSNL.

In fact, expressing the concern of BSNL, BSNL Employees Union had written a letter to IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, in which the company had said that the network of BSNL Telecom Company is not available in every part of the country. For this reason, in those parts of the country where BSNL network is not present, permission should be given to use Vodafone Idea’s 4G network, because the government has the largest stake in these two telecom companies.

BSNL told the government that due to non-availability of 4G service in every part of the country and 5G service being provided by Jio and Airtel, BSNL users are shifting to Jio and Airtel. For this reason, BSNL is seeking permission to use Vodafone Idea’s 4G network, so that it can spread its 4G service across the country.
