Budget Session 2024: The discussion on the budget continued in both the houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, on Thursday (July 25). Congress member Akhilesh Prasad Singh also participated in the discussion on the general budget. During this, he raised the issue of the bridge falling in Bihar.

During this time, when he was presenting his case in the House, Union Minister Giriraj Singh made a comment on him. On which Akhilesh Prasad Singh said, ‘I will speak with the blessings of Mahadev.’ On which Chairman Dhankhar said something that made everyone laugh.

During the discussion on the budget, when Congress member Akhilesh Prasad Singh was presenting his point, Union Minister Giriraj Singh interrupted him and said something to him. In response to this, Congress member Akhilesh Prasad Singh said, ‘I will speak with the blessings of Mahadev.’ After which Chairman Dhankhar said, ‘Akhilesh ji, you have got permission from the chair to speak. Use Mahadev ji for some other work. Mahadev belongs to all of us. Use him some other time.’

Even the Congress members could not stop laughing at this comment of the Chairman. During this, the Chairman further said, ‘There is a direct relationship between Giriraj ji and you.’ On which Congress member Akhilesh Prasad Singh said, ‘Even during the elections, he used to say the same thing that do not come towards me.’ After which the members started laughing again.

Targeted the center regarding Purvodaya scheme

Calling the Purvodaya Yojana a Jumla, the Congress MP said, ‘PM Modi should work on the earlier announcements made by him for the people of Bihar. There is a so-called double engine government in Bihar, but six bridges were washed away in the rain. It has been announced to build two more new bridges on the Ganga river. Now it will be interesting to see whether these bridges will last or not.
