Preparations are on to take major action against Rajiv Rana, the main accused of the riot on Pilibhit bypass in Bareilly. Bulldozers were placed outside his City Star Hotel at around 10 am on Thursday. Bulldozers can be run on his hotel at any time. Even after giving time, the accused party could not show the map of the hotel to BDA (Bareilly Development Authority). After this, a notice was sent.
Now BDA has taken action against Rana’s hotel. Heavy police force has been deployed outside Rana’s hotel. Before the action, the nearby shops were closed. In the presence of officers, the locks of his house and hotel were broken at 10:40 am. After this, the workers started breaking inside the hotel.
The miscreants were staying in hotels
After the uproar, on the instructions of the district administration, teams of BDA and Revenue Department are engaged in investigation. In the preliminary investigation, the names of City Star and CK Valley Hotel came up. Police investigation revealed that Rajiv Rana had made arrangements for the stay and party of the accused in both the hotels. On Tuesday, the shop and his house were measured in City Star Hotel, CK Valley, Sanjay Nagar. It was revealed that City Star Hotel is built on a residential plot. The accused party could not even show its map. Now BDA has issued a notice to Rajiv Rana’s party.
