Where a challan of Rs 1 lakh has been issued to a youth riding a bike for wearing a helmet. After this this matter is much discussed.
My challan of Rs 1 lakh was canceled
When the victim youth Rajabul was talked to about this, he told that his house is in Chausa of Madhepura district. From there I was going to Navagachia for some important work. At that time, vehicle checking was going on near Kadwa check post. During this time, he issued a challan for driving without wearing a helmet. The appropriate fine for which is Rs 1000, but a challan of Rs 1 lakh was issued to me. Now I am making rounds of Bhagalpur DTO office and sometimes check post regarding this. Kadwa Police Station Officer Randhir Kumar has said that improvements will be made soon.
The police station has informed the senior officers through a letter.

He said that now this improvement can be done only from the control room. This will be rectified as soon as possible.
Know how wrong challan gets deducted
When I talked to a traffic officer about this, I came to know that there is already a column for fines in the machine. First of all, there is only one lakh column, if you click on it by mistake then the challan will be issued for that much only. For your information, if such a mistake is made then the administration will make corrections. If it does not improve, the cutter will have to pay the fine from his own pocket.
DTO said we can’t do anything on this
When an attempt was made to talk to DTO Janardan Kumar on this matter, he told that if we make a mistake, we will correct it. If this is a mistake of the traffic police then there will be improvement from there.
