On the morning of November 10, near the highway toll plaza at Gabhana, a private bus full of devotees was going to Sardhana in Meerut. The bus went out of control and overturned in a pit on the roadside. More than a dozen devotees were injured in the accident. The police admitted them to the district hospital with the help of toll ambulance for treatment.
Abhishek, a resident of Church Compound of Banna Devi police station area of Aligarh, said that about 50 passengers were going to Meerut Sardhana Church in a private bus. As soon as the bus reached the highway toll plaza at 3.30 am on November 10, the bus went out of control and overturned in a roadside pit. There was screaming among the devotees sitting in the bus.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and admitted the injured to Aligarh district hospital by toll ambulance. Two women are undergoing treatment at Deendayal Hospital, while the other injured were discharged from the district hospital after treatment. In the accident, Ankita, Jasmine David, Shivani, Anjali, Rohina, Priyanka, Sunita, Saina, Goodbin, Harshit, Ashish, Sanji, Nitin, Niol, Abhay Singh, Babli, Banshu, Priya, Joshpin, Abhishek, residents of Church Compound Banna Devi and one More than a dozen devotees were injured. The remaining devotees suffered minor injuries.
