She also told that many women use talcum powder on sanitary pads during periods, which can cause cancer.

Gynecologist of Max Vaishali Hospital, Dr. Kanika Gupta says that cervical cancer cannot be caused by sanitary napkins but sanitary napkins are causing unhygienic medical conditions. Women are getting infection due to not maintaining proper hygiene. Immunity is decreasing due to this. Simply put, if women do not maintain hygiene while using pads, then they are at greater risk of getting infection, which can later take the form of a serious disease. The post warned not to use the same pad throughout the day because chemicals are used in these ultra napkins, this chemical gets converted into liquid gel throughout the day due to which there is a fear of bladder cancer and uterus cancer. It was advised in the post to use only pads made of cotton. It was also written that if you use ultra pads then change them after 5 hours. If the sanitary napkin is not changed, the blood accumulated in it turns green and turns into a fungus which enters the body through the uterus.
