On Sunday, at Ramadevi crossing in Kanpur, a BJP worker hit a car in the convoy of Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak with his car. The police have filed a report against the worker on the complaint of the victim driver.

On Sunday afternoon, the Deputy CM had come to the city for a program. His fleet also included Krishna Kumar, a transport department driver from Chinhat, Lucknow.

While the Deputy CM was leaving for the airport after attending the program, some BJP workers also left in their vehicles to drop him to the airport. When the fleet reached Ramadevi square, the car of a BJP worker hit the driver Shravan Kumar’s car from behind. Due to which his car collided with another car going ahead. However, no one was injured in the incident. Then after dropping the Deputy Chief Minister, Krishna Kumar took the car to Chakeri police station and complained to the police. Police station in-charge Ashok Dubey said that action is being taken by registering an NCR on the driver’s complaint.
