NDRF team searching for wedding guests in Kapna canal

The wedding procession car coming from Sherpur village of Bulandshahr’s Kakod police station to Pisawa in Aligarh went out of control and overturned in the Kapna canal. In this incident, three people died on the spot due to drowning in the canal, two people were injured and three people are missing. The NDRF team has started searching for them.
There was mourning on the bride’s side due to the death of three groomsmen. The wedding preparations were hurriedly stopped. Many people from the bride’s side reached the spot. After the incident, the wedding rituals were completed in a sad atmosphere. Some people reached Sherpur, the groom’s village. This news turned happiness into mourning in the village.
The marriage procession was coming to Pisawa from village Sherpur of Kakod police station on the night of 3 March for the marriage of the daughter of Devendra alias Gola Bhagat of Pisawa. Eight wedding guests were sitting in an eco car. The car went out of control on the bridge of Kapana canal and overturned in the canal. Due to which all eight wedding guests in the car drowned in the canal. In which three people died on the spot. The condition of two is said to be serious. Three people were nowhere to be found and the NDRF team is searching for them. The rituals were somehow completed after the atmosphere of the daughter’s wedding was gloomy. The entire family has reached Sherpur.
