Two videos have emerged from the police station of the lawyer accused of beating a D Pharma student in Bithoor area of Kanpur. In the first, he is sitting comfortably cross-legged on a chair in front of a fast fan. Policemen are standing in front of him. In the second, he is coming out of the police station and telling something to fellow lawyers and close ones.
The advocate saw the minor student drinking cold drink with his minor daughter in Ishwariganj area on Friday evening. On this, the advocate lost his temper and kidnapped the student and held him hostage in a farm house in Chiran village of Bithoor and beat him brutally. When the matter escalated, an FIR was lodged against advocate Brajnarain Nishad and elder brother Tejnarayan Nishad. The police arrested both the accused and brought them to the police station. After this, two videos of the police station came to light.
Police released the accused’s wife from custody
There was a crowd of lawyers outside Bithoor police station. A large number of women were also brought to put pressure on the police. Many village heads also came here to plead for the accused. Seeing the pressure of the lawyers, the police released the wife of accused Brij Narayan from custody. Inside the police station, the accused advocate Brij Narayan and his brother Tej Narayan were seen sitting on chairs. A fan was placed in front of them for air. The accused was trying to settle his case by talking on the phone inside the police station. He was giving instructions to his fellow lawyers and close ones after coming out. Eight accused were involved in the case, but the other accused have not been arrested yet.
Mother said- our son was being taken away by their daughter
On the question of molestation charges against her son, the student’s mother said that they were demanding a ransom of Rs 5 lakh. There was no case of molestation then. Now that an FIR has been filed, they are accusing us of molesting our daughter. We will say that our son was being taken away by your daughter.
student’s condition is critical
The student who was seriously injured due to the beating is admitted in the ICU of Hallet. The doctors treating him said that the student is stable. There is no part of his body where there are no marks of injury. The entire body has turned black due to the beating. The student has been kept in the ICU. At present, CT scan, ultrasound and all other tests of the entire body have been done. Treatment is being done on the basis of the test report.
