Despite the ban, meat is being sold openly in Khandauli police station area of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. Someone has made a video of this and posted it on social media. This video is going viral in the area. Taking cognizance of the video, ACP has ordered an investigation.
State Chief Yogi Adityanath has imposed a complete ban on selling meat during Navratri. A video went viral on social media on Sunday. In this, some women and persons are cutting meat and selling it. The video is said to be of a Mohalla businessman of Khandauli. After the video went viral, ACP Etmadpur has ordered an investigation.
