AC case: Notice issued to nine policemen including CO Line
The head constable of the department, Dhamendra Kumar, has leveled serious allegations against CO Line Priyatosh Tripathi and exposed the corruption prevailing in the department. In this case, the investigating officer, SP Southern Manush Pareek, has issued notices to nine people including CO and Dharmendra and called them to record their statements. Dharmendra alleges that while he was the store in-charge, AC was installed in the CO’s government residence on the verbal instructions of RI.
When he went to get the permission letter for AC signed, the CO asked him to adjust it. The allegation was that earlier the CO had also taken connection for fridge and dish, for which payment was not made. He was demanding a home theatre worth Rs. 46 thousand. When he refused, the CO removed him from the post of store incharge.
