CBSE Says No Syllabus Change: The Central Board i.e. CBSE has made it clear that for the academic session 2024-25, only the syllabus of classes 3 and 6 has been changed. Apart from this, no change has been made in the curriculum of any other class. In all other classes, studies will be done from the old text book only. Neither the curriculum has been changed nor any change has been made in the text book of any other class.

CBSE has issued a notice in this regard and has asked all the Central Board affiliated schools to continue teaching from the old text books for all classes except class 3 and 6. These are the same books which were used in the academic year 2023-24.
New books being published
Regarding this, the board said that the National Council of Educational Research and Training has informed CBSE through a letter that the new books for grades 3 and 6 as per the new syllabus are still under development and will be released soon.
Till then, schools have been instructed to follow the new syllabus of classes 3 and 6. Along with this, NCERT has also thought of creating a bridge course which will help students in understanding the new syllabus and will also help in studying in a new way.
Other than that there will be no change
Apart from this, no changes have been made in the curriculum of any other class. From the beginning of the new session i.e. 1st April, studies will be done from the books based on the previous curriculum. From teachers to parents and students, everyone should not get confused and continue studying from the old text book.

You will be notified of the new changes
