Central Government Employees: Recently the Central Government has increased the DA i.e. Dearness Allowance of central employees. The central government has increased the number of employees from 46% to 50%. Even before Holi, the Central Government has given a big gift to its employees. DA i.e. dearness allowance increases every year and this is the third consecutive time that DA has been increased by 4%. There is no DA from the government to the central employees. Central employees are also told to stay in addition to the allowance. Which is also called House Rent Allowance i.e. HRA. Like DA, it is not available equally to all employees. Different fees are paid according to each city. For this, cities have been divided into three categories under the Seventh Pay Commission. These categories are X,Y and Z. Employees are shortlisted accordingly. Recently the government has also announced an increase in HRA. In which after the new announcement, 30 percent HRA will be given in X, 20 percent in Y and 10 percent in Z.

The government takes full care of the central employees. Apart from DA, HRA, many other allowances are given to central employees. In which child education allowance is given for the education expenses of children. So, on transfer and for commuting to office, travel allowance is also given. Along with this, dress allowance is also given and other allowances related to child care are also given to the central employees.
