Kiren Rijiju on Hemant Soren: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has made a verbal attack on Hemant Soren, who was arrested in connection with the land scam in Jharkhand. Soren arrested after resignation
Hemant Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister late on Wednesday (January 31) evening and submitted his resignation to the Governor. Later the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested him in connection with the land scam. Earlier on Wednesday, Hemant Soren was interrogated by ED officials for seven hours.
What is the whole matter?
ED is investigating the land scam against Hemant Soren. In this case, there is an allegation of buying and selling army land in Cheshire Home Road, Ranchi on the basis of fake documents. According to ED, Hemant Soren’s role has been suspected in connection with the investigation of ‘a big racket of illegal change of land ownership by the mafia’ in Jharkhand. In this situation he has been arrested.
