If you are preparing for a government job then this is a great opportunity for you. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) had started the application process for the State Service Examination 2024 (PCS), the last date of which is now very near. The last date to apply for this examination is 30 December 2024. Candidates can apply till 11:59 pm tomorrow night. To apply, candidates will have to apply by visiting the official website www.psc.cg.gov.in.
This time a total of 246 posts will be recruited through CGPSC. There will be written examination, interview and document verification for the selection of candidates for these posts. Candidates applying for the exam must be graduates from any recognized institute. Apart from this, the age of the candidates should be between 21 to 30 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit.
Candidates applying for the recruitment examination will have to appear in the preliminary examination and main examination. This exam will be conducted on 9 February 2025. The first shift will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm. Whereas, the probable date of main examination is 26 to 29 June 2025. Prelims exam will be conducted in 33 districts of the state. Whereas the mains exam will be held only in 5 districts. These include Surguja, Bilaspur, Durg, Bastar and Raipur.

When will the admit card be released?
PCS exam admit card is likely to be released in the last week of January 2025. If any mistake is made while applying, the Commission is also providing the facility to correct it. Free error correction is from December 31, 2024 to January 2, 2025. Whereas error correction including fees will take place from January 3, 2025 to January 5, 2025. For this, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.

Examination fee can be paid online only. Candidates residing in Chhattisgarh will not have to pay any fee for the examination. Whereas candidates from other states are required to pay a fee of Rs 400. For more information, candidates can take help of the official website.
