Chaitra Navratri 2023 3rd Day Puja: There is a law to worship different forms of Maa Durga for nine days of Navratri. The name of the third power of Maa Durga is Chandraghanta. The form of Maa Chandraghanta is supremely peaceful and benevolent. Maa Chandraghanta, the third form of Maa Durga, is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. - Mother Chandraghanta holds sword, trishul, bow and mace in her hands.

Sorrows will be destroyed by the grace of mother
- With the grace of Maa Chandraghanta, all the sins and obstacles of the seeker are destroyed.
- With the grace of Maa Chandraghanta, the seeker becomes mighty and fearless.
- Maa Chandraghanta also protects from evil spirits, worshiping her develops bravery-fearlessness as well as mildness and humility and develops the face, eyes and whole body.
- Man gets freedom from all worldly sufferings by worshiping Maa Chandraghanta.
On the day of Tritiya, there should be priority of milk in the worship of Bhagwati and after worship it is considered proper to give that milk to a Brahmin. It is also a custom to apply vermilion on this day.
