Farmers face many problems in farming during winter season. In such a situation, if it rains, this problem increases further. There is a possibility of rain in the coming one or two days in some districts of Western Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, farmer brothers need to keep some special things in mind. According to reports, there is a possibility of rain in Aligarh, Agra, Hathras and surrounding areas.
What to do
For the past several months, farmers have invested a lot of money and hard work in producing the crop, hence the farmers are worried about their crop. To save the crop, it is most important to monitor the farming daily. If diseases are seen in the leaves of the plant, immediately uproot them and bury them in the ground. If more diseases are seen, immediately consult experts and as a precaution, spray a fungicide like Carbendazim Mancozeb or Metalaxyl and Mancozeb.
If the weather is unfavorable for blight in the potato crop, then spray Ina fungicide at 2 grams per liter. If there is white leaf spot disease in mustard crop, then spray copper oxychloride or carbendazim manacozeb at 3 grams per liter of water.
Don’t do this work
If rain is expected in your area then do not irrigate. Vegetable crops can be especially harmful if there is excessive moisture in the field. Many diseases may occur. Spraying of germicides, insecticides or weedicides is best done when the sun is out. If there is fog and clouds and there is a possibility of rain, then avoid spraying pesticides.
If the crop has bloomed then avoid using any kind of chemical pesticide. Do not use chemical sprays in any crop where flowers are coming. Otherwise the growth of the flower will stop. Flowers will fall, due to which grains and fruits will not be able to form. In such a situation, use natural methods, smoke, nami, neem oil and rakha of tubers. Apart from this, if bees are kept in the field, or if they come there, then do not spray chemicals during the day, otherwise they will die. Use it in the evening when the bees return to the hive.
