Mother Sangeeta (22) died two hours after delivery in a private hospital on Munsif Road. The family members have accused the doctor of giving wrong injections. Also started demanding action against the doctor. Police reached the spot and explained to the family members. After this, the woman’s body was taken into custody and sent to the PM.
Sangeeta, wife of Rajiv Kumar, resident of village Raj Dapauli of Faizganj Behta police station area of Badaun district, suffered labor pain on Saturday evening. The family brought him to a hospital located on Munsif Road in Chandausi. Here the doctor admitted her for delivery. On Sunday morning, Sangeeta gave birth to a dead baby in a normal delivery.
Rajiv told that Sangeeta was fine after delivery, but around 2 o’clock in the afternoon the doctor gave her an injection. After which Sangeeta’s health started deteriorating. At first an attempt was made to give him treatment in the hospital, but when his condition worsened, the doctor suggested taking him to another hospital.
Before the family could take Sangeeta to another hospital, Sangeeta died. After Sangeeta’s death, there was hue and cry among the family members. The family members started accusing the doctor of negligence and giving wrong injections. Local police reached on information. The police took Sangeeta’s body into their custody and sent it to the PM. Sangeeta got married two years ago, this was her first delivery.
