Chandigarh University partners with PWC to offer real-world focused MBA course in Applied Finance


Chandigarh University has become the first Indian university to launch a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Applied Finance in collaboration with Price Water House Coopers (PwC), a globally leading financial advisory firm, to provide aspiring business students with real-world business opportunities. 

Dr GS Brar, Registrar, Chandigarh University signed the MoU for this MBA in Applied Finance with PwC Senior Director HCM Sanjeev Parkar at Chandigarh University Campus. Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration), Chandigarh University, Professor (Dr) Devinder Singh, Registrar, Chandigarh University, Dr GS Brar and PwC India Director Krishnan Ravindran, Global School of Finance and Accounting Director Nilesh Arora were present on the occasion. With the signing of MoU with PwC, Chandigarh University has become the first Indian University to have an academic collaboration with PwC for MBA Applied Finance to meet the emerging needs of the industry and to realize the aspirations of millions of Indian students.

The curriculum of the MBA Applied Finance program has been carefully designed in collaboration with PwC. This academic program focuses beyond the existing finance programs available in the country and will open up multiple avenues for financial accounting students to achieve their goals not only locally but also globally. This comprehensive program will expand their exposure to cutting-edge topics such as financial modeling and forecasting, assurance and auditing, consulting, the rapidly evolving landscape of FinTech and analytics. At the heart of this transformational experience is a commitment to not just theoretical understanding but also practical application, ensuring that you become not only academically proficient but also industry-ready.
