During a conversation with Local 18, Sonu, the owner of Chandu’s famous Chole Kulcha, tells that he has been setting up a stall outside Swargashram at Ram Jhula in Rishikesh for the last 10 years. Not only is the Chole Kulcha of this stall famous, the Aloo Chaat here is also quite famous. Along with Aloo Chaat and Chole Kulcha, you will also get Aloo Tikki, Bandh Tikki and Bun Chole available here.

Sonu tells that all the local people and tourists like to eat potato chaat here. Along with this, Aloo Chaat like here will not be available anywhere else in Rishikesh. To make Aloo Chaat, they boil potatoes and cut them into small pieces. After which they are lightly fried in oil. These fried potatoes are served with the chutney made by them and lemon. Talking about the price, the price of one plate is Rs 40. The prices of other dishes available here range from Rs 20 to Rs 40.4
