It is being said that the leftists insulted the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji ji in JNU campus Teflaj. There was a clash between ABVP and Left on this issue. After this ABVP and Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union ie JNUSU are accusing each other. At present, the university administration has not expressed any reaction on this matter.

AVBP issued a statement saying, “Today, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in JNU installed his statue in Teflaj of JNU. Leftist parties did not like the fact that how any photo, which is not of their ideology, can be used in Teflaz. Therefore, they insulted Shivaji’s picture in JNU.

So on the other hand, Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) has accused ABVP of attacking students. According to JNUSU, “ABVP has once again attacked students in Teflas (hostel)”.
