Now on Friday, Chetan submitted his resignation to Jai Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. According to the report, the resignation has been accepted. This was his second term as chief selector.

He had made a disclosure related to the former president of BCCI. Chetan had said about Hardik Pandya that he has come to meet his house many times for the captaincy. After Chetan’s sting, BCCI wanted to take action against him. According to the report, this was the reason that he had to resign.

This was the second term of former Team India player Chetan as the Chief Selector. Earlier, he was removed from the post due to the poor performance of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup. A news channel had recently conducted a sting operation regarding Chetan Sharma. In this, Chetan had revealed many secrets related to the players. Chetan had said that 80-85 percent use injections despite being fit. He had told that the relationship between Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli had deteriorated. Kohli considered Ganguly guilty of snatching the captaincy. But it was not so. The biggest reason for the conflict between Kohli and Ganguly was their ego. Virat had made many false allegations on Ganguly after stepping down from the captaincy.
The former chief selector told about Hardik Pandya that he keeps coming home to mark his attendance for the captaincy. He told that he used to talk to Rohit Sharma on the phone for half an hour. Chetan had also named Umesh Yadav and Deepak Hooda and many other players during the sting.
