On the other hand, carelessness is being taken on the border of Chhattisgarh-Odisha.
People coming from Odisha are not being tested for corona
There is no health department employee present at the check post on the border, nor are people coming from Odisha being tested for corona here. Here people from Odisha are indiscriminately entering Bastar of Chhattisgarh without getting tested. At the same time, police force has also not been deployed at the border check post. According to the information, a large number of infected patients have been confirmed in Odisha. Despite this, no alert has been issued by Bastar district administration in the border areas.
Corona ignored in border areas
It is noteworthy that an alert has been issued in all the states regarding the new variant of Corona. Along with this, the Chief Minister of the state has also given instructions to make all the arrangements to deal with this new variant of Corona. It has also been asked to be cautious especially in the border areas. Even after that, the way all the rules are being ignored on the border of Chhattisgarh’s Bastar and Odisha is a matter of concern. In such a situation, if Corona cases increase, then along with the villagers in Bastar, a large number of city residents can also get affected by it. At present, Bastar Collector Vijay Dayaram says that the administration team in the border areas of Bastar will be made ready in the coming days and if needed, corona investigation will also be started.
