The portal has been named Delhi Solar Portal. Solar energy will be generated by installing panels on rooftops. A one kilowatt plant produces about 100 units of electricity.

Chief Minister Atishi on Wednesday launched the portal for installation of solar panels. It has been named Delhi Solar Portal. Solar energy will be generated by installing panels on rooftops. While launching the portal at Delhi Secretariat, Atishi said that as per the solar policy of the AAP government launched on March 14 this year, 750 MW of solar panels will be installed. In this, consumers with monthly electricity consumption more than 400 units will also get the benefit of subsidy.
