Pakistan’s army is proving to be unsuccessful in stopping these attacks, in such a situation Chinese experts have claimed that if Pakistan’s army fails to stop terrorist attacks, then China will deploy its army in Pakistan.
According to the South China Morning Post, Chinese diplomats posted in Pakistan openly said in a meeting with Pakistani officials that the Taliban has stabbed them in the back. Pakistan and China say that TTP terrorists have taken refuge in Afghanistan and the Taliban is helping them. China and Pakistan are jointly putting pressure to take action against TTP, but the Taliban government of Afghanistan is not taking any action. Recently, 5 Chinese engineers were killed in a suicide attack. Analysts believe that if the Pakistani army fails to stop these attacks, then China can deploy its own army in Balochistan.
China-Pakistan become big partners
Michael Kugelman, an expert on South Asia affairs at the Washington-based think tank Wilson Center, said, “China has clearly said that there should be no attacks now, China is waiting for the results on the ground.” Michael said that a lot is at stake for Pakistan at this time, because China has emerged as Pakistan’s biggest partner at this time. Michael said that if the terrorist attacks do not stop in the coming months, then it cannot be denied that China will deploy troops in Pakistan to protect its citizens.
Chinese army is a matter of shame for Pakistan
Michael said that if China deploys its army in Pakistan, it will be a matter of great shame for Pakistan. Pakistan’s economy has reached the verge of default like Sri Lanka. In such a situation, Pakistan has somehow escaped default with the help of Gulf countries and IMF loan. Both Pakistan and China want to extend the CPEC built under BRI to Afghanistan, but the terrorist organizations of TTP and Islamic State are creating the biggest hurdle in this. Both these terrorist organizations can become a big threat for both China and Pakistan.
