A speeding car hit a woman and her niece near a petrol pump on Jhansi-Mirzapur national highway in Khoh village of Sadar Kotwali in Chitrakoot district. Both died on the spot. Both were going to the government ration shop to get ration. Before this, the same car also hit a bike rider and a teenager, due to which the bike rider was seriously injured.

On Saturday evening, a speeding car coming from Mau towards Karvi hit Gudiya and her niece Palak of Khoh village on the highway near Khoh village. Both died. The same car also hit a bike, due to which the bike rider Anil Singh (30), resident of Khandeha Lauri of Mau police station area, was seriously injured. Another teenager was also injured. On getting the information, Kotwal Upendra Singh reached the spot. The injured were sent to the district hospital by ambulance. On getting the information, the relatives of the deceased reached the district hospital.
