In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the police recovered a missing girl after six months. Within a few hours, she escaped again by fooling the police. The SSP has suspended the outpost in-charge and a woman constable for negligence.
The case is of Anoda Chowki of Raya police station area. Here the outpost in-charge Vijay Singh Yadav and a woman constable Poonam have been suspended by the SSP. Both are accused of negligence in work. Actually, a youth of Highway police station area had lured and taken away a girl from a village of Raya police station area about six months ago. A case was registered on the complaint of the girl’s family.
The police recovered the girl on 26th July. When her health deteriorated, she was admitted to the district hospital. Woman constable Poonam was put on duty in the hospital. On 27th July, the girl escaped from the district hospital in police custody. SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey said that taking the matter seriously, the outpost in-charge and the woman constable have been suspended.
