Artificial Intelligence has been introduced by CBSE in the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. With this, subjects like coding will also be taught quickly. Also, the board will also provide information on Data Science for class 8th and ‘What you need to know about keeping medicines at home’ for class 6th. Skill subjects are now being introduced for the students of class 6th to 8th also. Till now in most of the schools skill subjects were being taught to the students after 9th standard.
Microsoft will prepare coding syllabus
The board has listed 33 subjects, which include Artificial Intelligence, Financial Literacy, Coding, Data Science, Augmented Reality, Kashmiri Embroidery, and Kovid-19. These modules are of 12-15 hours duration. Schools have been told that for these subjects, 70 percent time has to be spent in practical and 30 percent in theory. Along with this, schools can use time like ‘bagless day’ or vacation time or summer camp to teach skill module.
CBSE board results will now be available on DigiLocker
After the CBSE Board 10th and 12th results are released, students will be able to check the results on DigiLocker apart from the official site. For which students will first have to register themselves in DigiLocker. After this, students can visit the official website of DigiLocker – digilocker.gov.in and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button. Then students click on the ‘Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’ tab under the “Education” tab. Now students enter their CBSE roll number, date of birth and other details as required. After entering the required details, click on the ‘Get Result’ button. Now CBSE Board Result will be displayed on your screen. You can download and save a copy of your result for future reference.
