Video of School Girl: Harassing classmates in any way is considered a crime in schools and colleges. There is also a committee in the institutes so that such incidents do not happen. But in spite of this, the case of harassment by classmates keeps coming to the fore. One such incident is from a private school in Lahore, Pakistan, where a video of a girl being harassed by her classmates went viral on social media. After this the officials swung into action and the investigation has been started.
This video has been shared multiple times on Twitter, in which three teenage girls are seen grabbing their classmate by her hair and throwing her to the ground. The group is heard verbally abusing the alleged victim and asking her to “say sorry”. Another girl is also seen kicking the girl on the forehead, while another is seen recording a video of the incident on his mobile phone.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Mahen Faisal shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “Absolutely disgusted by this. Visuals from Scarsdale American International School in Lahore, where students allegedly assaulted a fellow student after he refused to have a drink. This is unacceptable, I hope some serious action is taken against the girls.” According to Dawn, the incident took place on January 16 at the American International School located in BB Block of the Defense Housing Authority (DHA).
