Taking forward the process of encouraging sports and players, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the first mini sports complex of Gorakhpur on Friday (January 3) afternoon. This mini sports complex is built in Bhati Vihar Colony of the city. It has been constructed by Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) on 2 acres of land at a cost of Rs 5.23 crore from CM Yogi’s MLA Fund (Legislative Area Development Fund).

The construction work of the Mini Sports Complex started on 24 July 2023. Now with its construction, an excellent platform has become available for sports talents to practice. GDA Vice President Anand Vardhan says that Mini Sports Complex is a new gift for the youth of Gorakhpur.
In the Mini Sports Complex, a gym, administrative block, badminton court, rifle and pistol shooting range, multi-purpose hall for outdoor games, 300 meter synthetic running track for outdoor games, lawn tennis court etc. have been constructed. Volleyball, wrestling court and cricket net practice range are also built here. For the convenience of the players, complete arrangements have been made for toilet blocks, drinking water etc. in the Mini Sports Complex.
Chief Minister will inaugurate night shelter and distribute blankets in Tipi Nagar
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the night shelter built by the Municipal Corporation in Transport Nagar (TP Nagar) on Friday (January 3) in the afternoon. On this occasion, blankets will also be distributed among the poor and helpless.
